Instructors

A graduate of a Master Course for Beauty & High Fashion Makeup in Westmore Academy in Los Angeles, makeup artist and instructor Lanie Acedillo has extensive experience in the Beauty Industry. Apart from being an artist, Lanie is also the Creative Director of Manila Polo Club Salon, catering mainly to the who’s who in the Philippines.

Her passion has led her to dedicate her life and talent in doing makeup for T.V. (ABS-CBN), advertising, editorials, weddings, and debuts. Her creative work reflects her artistic sensibility from very natural, barely there makeup to more dramatic and fantasy effects.

With real industry experience, Lanie believes in instilling within her students the value of dedication, hard work and the pursuit of excellence.

This Production Design Graduate trained at Cinema Makeup School in Los Angeles, specializing in Film,Television and Special Effects Makeup under the international industry’s best.

Since 2008 Carmen set out as freelance makeup artist working on top glossies, print advertisements, television commercials, music videos, theater productions, weddings and other special occasions honing her skill at beauty makeup which she initially trained for at ICI Training Center early in 2005 and soon after worked for the European franchise, Marionnaud as Managing Makeup Artist for international brands.

Has an extensive 12-years makeup experience from theater and fashion industry.  Highly technical, detailed and proficient in creating perfect visual representation of character makeup, period makeup, bridal makeup and high fashion. 

As a theater performer most of her life, she developed a love for makeup artistry.  Honing in on her passion to excel, she focused on further enhancing her make-up skills by taking advanced courses.  Enrolling in Maquillage Proffesionel, an international makeup school, she graduated and was acclaimed best in her class.  And now, she uses her knowledge and skills to help others, by working as a makeup artist and by teaching basic and advanced makeup courses
